The 9th general meeting of small and medium motors branch of China Electrical Industry Association was successfully held in Shanghai on June 18, 2021. A total of 168 Member units and more than 230 representatives attended the meeting. Liu Changsheng, executive vice president of China Electrical Appliance Industry Association, Li Jianxin, director of Group Liaison Department, Zheng Shiquan, director of product department of China Quality Certification Center, and Zhang Sen, Secretary General of electrical products branch of China Chamber of Commerce for import and export of mechanical and electrical products, attended the meeting to guide the work and make important speeches.
Liu Changsheng, executive vice president of China Electrical Appliance Industry Association, affirmed the achievements of the small and medium-sized motor branch during the eighth session and sent a sincere message to the small and medium-sized motor industry: building a first-class industry organization requires first-class branches and first-class enterprises. He hopes that the small and medium-sized motor branch and its member units will get better and better under the leadership of the ninth Council.
Zheng Shiquan, director of the product department of China Quality Certification Center, introduced the changes of relevant systems and rules to the delegates from the two aspects of compulsory certification and energy-saving certification, as well as the development prospects of motor in key projects, carbon peak and carbon neutralization as an important product under the development background of "low carbon, environmental protection and green".
The meeting considered and adopted the "work report of the Eighth Council of small and medium-sized motor branch of China Electrical Industry Association", "work regulations and amendment instructions of small and medium-sized motor branch" and "financial revenue and expenditure report of the Eighth Council of small and medium-sized motor branch", and elected the ninth Council composed of 79 units by secret ballot.
At the meeting, Shanghai Electric Research Institute was elected as the ninth chairman unit, and Wu Yehua, chairman of the group company and chairman of Shanghai Electric Research Institute, was elected as the ninth chairman; Jin Weiwei, chairman of Shanghai motor system energy saving Engineering Technology Research Center Co., Ltd., served as the ninth Secretary General; 18 vice chairman units were elected, and the supporting unit of the branch secretariat was determined to be Shanghai Electric Appliance Research Institute. At the meeting, Secretary General Zhang Sen of electrical products branch of Electromechanical chamber of Commerce was invited to make a report on "analysis of China's foreign trade situation of electromechanical products". Qin Hongbo, technical director of Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center, Liu Qingyong, chairman of Jiamusi Motor Co., Ltd., Luo Hui, general manager of Shanghai ABB Motor Co., Ltd., Li Guangyao, deputy general manager of Shanghai motor and system energy saving Engineering Technology Research Center Co., Ltd., and other leaders and experts shared the background of "carbon peak and carbon neutralization" from different angles, Thoughts on the development and transformation of motor industry.
During the meeting, the action initiative ceremony of promoting green development and helping to achieve carbon neutrality was held by the small and medium-sized motor branch of China Electrical Industry Association, calling on industry enterprises to work together and move forward on the new journey of green and low carbon, so as to make due contributions to helping China achieve the goal of carbon peak, carbon neutral and on schedule. With the joint efforts of all participants, the 9th general meeting of small and medium-sized motor branch completed the scheduled agenda, and the meeting closed successfully in a grand and warm atmosphere.
